Summer Giveaway — Official Rules
Entry period: July 1, 2026 – September 30, 2026
To thank our students, Canadian Firearms Academy Ltd (“CFA”) is giving away three prizes — a grand prize of a Savage 64F .22 LR rifle, plus second- and third-place prizes. Every student who registers and pays for a course during the entry period is automatically entered — there is nothing extra to fill out. Please read these rules carefully; by entering you agree to them.

Prizes
Three winners will be drawn: Grand Prize — a Savage 64F .22 LR rifle (a non-restricted firearm); Second Prize — a Buck knife; and Third Prize — a $50 Bass Pro Shops gift card. Each person can win only one prize. The grand prize is drawn first, then second, then third.
Entry period
The promotion runs from July 1, 2026 to September 30, 2026 (Pacific Time). Only paid registrations made during this window are entered.
How to enter
Register and pay for any CFA course — Non-Restricted (PAL), Restricted (RPAL), Combined, or C.O.R.E. — during the entry period. Your entry is credited to the person who books and pays for the registration. If you book and pay for several people on one registration, the entry belongs to you as the purchaser.
How entries are counted
Each paid course earns entries as follows: Non-Restricted (PAL) — one entry; Restricted (RPAL) — one entry; C.O.R.E. — one entry; and the Combined course — two entries. Booking more than one course adds their entries together — for example, Combined plus C.O.R.E. earns three entries. A maximum of three entries per person applies.
Eligibility
The promotion is open to residents of Canada who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry and who purchase and attend a CFA course in person during the entry period. Employees of CFA and their immediate family members are not eligible. Because the grand prize is a firearm, the grand-prize winner must hold a valid Possession and Acquisition Licence (PAL) in order to claim it. The second- and third-place prizes do not require a firearms licence.
Claiming the prizes
The grand prize is a Savage 64F .22 LR. It is a non-restricted firearm, so a standard (non-restricted) PAL is sufficient to claim it. The grand-prize winner must provide a valid PAL before the firearm can be awarded, and it will be transferred only in accordance with the Firearms Act and RCMP requirements — which may include transfer through a licensed firearms business. If the grand-prize winner does not yet hold a valid PAL, that's okay — we will hold the firearm securely for as long as it takes and transfer it once they have obtained their licence. All prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Any applicable taxes or fees are the responsibility of the winner.
The draw & how winners are notified
Three winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries during the first week of October 2026 — grand prize first, then second, then third, with one prize per person. Winners will be contacted using the phone number and email on their registration. For the grand prize, not having your PAL yet is not a problem — we will hold the firearm for you until your licence comes through. If a winner cannot be reached at all after repeated attempts, an alternate winner may be drawn for that prize.
