🐻 Black Bear or Grizzly?

The most important — and most protected — ID call in BC. Can you make it?

Grizzlies are protected in BC, and shooting one is a serious offence. Colour won't help — black bears range from black to cinnamon. Judge the shape: shoulder hump and dished face say grizzly; no hump and a straight face say black bear.
